Hull Company Fabricates ASME Code Pressure Vessels In-House for increased control over Quality and Leadtime
|
The American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) code for pressure vessel design and fabrication is recognized throughout the world for its high standards of quality and safety. Hull maintains an ASME certified design and fabrication facility to the ASME section VIII Division 1 standards for unfired pressure vessels. Steam-In-Place pressure vessels to 30 PSIG are routinely designed and built as are vessels requiring special stoppering forces and non-standard structural configurations.
All pressure vessel engineering is done in-house using ASME design guidelines and calculations and is independently checked by ASME Certified Inspectors. Hull's processes and procedures are extensively documented and are periodically reviewed by its ASME underwriter and the state of Pennsylvania. Hull's welders have passed rigorous testing in various welding procedures and are certified to applicable ASME standards. All material is purchased with chemical and physical certifications and is fully traceable.
Non-code components are fabricated to the same high standards and with the same craftsmanship and materials as the ASME code components. Hull does not need to rely on outside fabricators who may not specialize in the fabrication of high quality sterile processing equipment.
